Feedstock Manager (m/f/d) International

VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006.
We have delivered biomethane plant development, construction, management, and optimisation across a 130+ MW project portfolio in six European markets and has an additional 90+ MW additional development pipeline. Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Regensburg or remotely and are currently looking for a Feedstock Manager (m/f/d) International:

Your Responsibilities

  • Development and application of feedstock strategies of European countries
  • Review and documentation of country-specific feedstock standards and contracts
  • Supporting the feedstock managers in the European branch in the application of contract standards
  • Preparation of reports on the current status of the contract situation at project level 
  • Review of GHG/GWP feedstock regulations/application
  • Maintenance and expansion of the feedstock gas yield database
  • Communication regarding feedstock strategies in close coordination with relevant departments
  • Application of and advice on digestate strategies
  • Development and communication of country-specific fertiliser regulations
  • Supporting the development of the purchasing department
  • Maintenance of the ERP application and support for the headquarter

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed agricultural vocational training or a degree in natural sciences or agricultural sciences
  • Several years of professional experience and experience in agriculture 
  • Experience in agricultural trade and contracting, as well as knowledge of crop cultivation, harvesting and logistics
  • Ideally experience in biogas, biomethane marketing, GHG and energy trading
  • Very good IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, ideally knowledge of Spanish and Italian
