VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006. To strengthen our spanish team in Madrid or Córdoba we are looking for you as a Legal Counsel (m/f/d):

Your Responsibilities

Shape and negotiate the legal foundations of our renewable energy projects.
Enable business growth by providing clear, pragmatic and solutions-driven legal advice.
Support permitting and regulatory workstreams.
Manage support by external law firms.
Lead the legal negotiations with private counterparties, lenders and public authorities.
Be the go-to legal partner for our Spanish team and a key contributor to our international legal function.

Your Profile

Master’s Degree in Law.
Several years of experience gained in an in-house legal department, a leading law firm, or a combination of both.
Strong expertise in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and managing business contracts, ideally in the areas of procurement, construction, services and/or project finance.
Experience in the renewable energy is highly valued, but not essential.
Native-level Spanish and excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
A solution-oriented facilitator: you don't just identify legal risks — you help the business navigate them and move projects forward.
Curious, pragmatic and commercially minded - you balance legal excellence with entrepreneurial thinking.
A trusted advisor who remains calm and focused in a dynamic and fast-growing environment - you turn complexity into clarity.
Meticulous and reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
