VORN Bioenergy is a leading biomethane producer and project developer, with over 40 biogas projects delivered in Germany and beyond, including Europe’s first biomethane plant in 2006.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Wolfenbüttel/Salzdahlum and are currently looking for a Operation & Maintenance Manager (m/w/d):

Your Responsibilities

You will be responsible for and monitor plant operation and look after the biogas plant in Salzdahlum
You will carry out and document daily operational management tasks such as feeding, inspection, fault clearance and repair measures
You will also provide strategic support to the plant operations team and act as an interface to other external partners, in particular insurance companies, authorities and service providers
You take on the role of owner for the sites
You report to the management and are their first point of contact for special issues of all kinds
You are responsible for regular reporting

Your Profile

You have completed vocational training in the field of plant mechanics, process engineering or electrical engineering, possibly with further training as a master craftsman or technician
You have several years of industry experience and are a go-getter with vision
Ideally, you have initial management experience
You have a quick understanding and problem-solving skills for technical processes
You are willing to work shifts and weekends and be on call
You can be relied on (time, quality, costs) and you stand behind your decisions
You are resilient, a strong communicator and a team player
You have project management skills
You have a very good knowledge of MS Office and are IT-savvy
You have a good command of written and spoken English
